Important Information

Brick Pit, Oxshott

It is essential that members keep to the Rules in their permit on page 36. Serious action will be taken by the Committee if any of the rules are broken. Members must not cast across the lake near to the houses. There will be Zero tolerance if found breaking any of the Rules. Members must be polite to Residents at all times. Any problems please contact the Secretary or Head Bailiff immediately.

If any member accidentally catches their line in a tree or bush and it breaks off please let us know so we can arrange for it to be removed. You will not be punished for this. We just want to prevent birds from getting caught up in the line. Many Thanks.

Low Water and Oxygen Levels

Please take extra care with fish health during hot spells of weather. With water and oxygen levels low and day time temperatures high, fish, particularly Barbel can be slow to recover after capture and may need nursing for some considerable time before release.

Please take a look at the Barbel Handling Code on this website if you have not yet done so.

Brooklands Fishery

With immediate affect fishing upstream of the 2 bridges opposite the houses is only allowed from 8.00am to 8.00pm June 16th to March 14th. Members must not fish these swims opposite the houses at any other time.

The rest of the fishery not opposite houses and downstream of the 2 bridges to the bottom boundary are available any time but please fish quietly, especially during the hours of darkness. Please can members also be extremely quiet when leaving the fishery late at night. Thank you.
